“I live my day as if it was the last / Live my day as if there was no past / Doin’ it all night, all summer / Doin’ it the way I wanna.” This is an acknowledgement of the freedom associated with summer, but also the fact that these things tend to be temporary: “It was a crush / I kept saying I’mma stay in touch / But that thing went bust / So I gave it up.” These lyrics show she’s not too bothered about it: “Now I’ve found another crush / The lush life’s given me a rush / Had one chance to make me blush / Second time is one too late.” We have incorporated a few ideas using these lyrics as inspiration and we have the incentive of using the key element of love subtly throughout the video. We will do this by having a male figure following the girl throughout each setting shot trying to catch up to her as if to ask her for her love back.
Initially the thoughts on this song was that the main concept was about enjoying life and freedom, this in fact is the case however, we discovered that there is a much bigger theme of love than we thought. Zara Larsson sings here about breaking up with her former boyfriend in order to enjoy being single."I'm just better off without them cuffs" Suggests She feels much better off without the cuffs of being in a relationship and is now loving the "lush life." The main singer in our music video will portray this to the audience as she will walk away from the opening date setting and effectively say goodbye to her pathetic boyfriend so she can enjoy her freedom at the following shots.

Looking at the 'freedom' and 'love life' attitude of the song the lyrics "yeah i'm a dance my heart out till the dawn / but i wont be done when the morning comes" Shows the carefree approach to how she wants to live her life. She is willing to stay up all night, in a type of celebration from this relationship being done with, giving the audience a message to enjoy being single. "I live my day as if it was the last live my day as if there was no past" Is the singer saying she doesn't look back on her past she focuses on the present and living life in the moment. In our music video we will portray this carefree attitude through our narrative of various locations such as a skatepark and central london.
